• Modern, principled advocacy against entrenched probate tactics.

I worked with T. Brandon Mace for over three and a half years on highly contested probate matters involving both of my parents’ estates. My parents passed away just 17 hours apart, which significantly complicated the legal issues. Their estate planning documents had not been updated in more than 25 y...ears, creating avoidable problems from the outset. Those complications were made worse by the continued involvement of the attorney who originally drafted the outdated documents. That involvement raised serious concerns and added unnecessary complexity to an already difficult situation. Brandon had to untangle issues that should never have existed and address conflicts created long before he was retained. Throughout this prolonged and contentious process, Brandon remained professional, focused, and effective. He handled complex probate issues and related legal matters involving improper use of estate property by a family member, requiring careful strategy and sound judgment. After years of working together, I trusted his advice completely and came to consider him a friend. He protected my parents’ interests and helped bring a very difficult situation to resolution. I recommend T. Brandon Mace without hesitation.
