Mr. Truxton attended the University of Florida where he received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration in 1977 and his Juris Doctor degree in 1980. Mr. Truxton is a member of The Florida Bar and the American Bar Association. He practices in the areas of commercial real estate and general corporate and business transactions. Mr. Truxton has been named to Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite® representing the top 2% of Florida Bar members. He has also been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine as one of the top 5% of Florida practicing attorneys and by Best Lawyers in America. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Lee Building Industry Association and of Builders Care, Inc., which is a 501(c)(3) organization. He has also served on the Horizon Council Business Climate Task Force and on the State of Florida Affordable Housing Study Commission.
