William Maxwell Blades Ferris

William “Max” Ferris is an associate attorney with the Knott Ebelini Hart, primarily concentrating his practice in the areas of business, commercial and construction litigation matters.

Before joining the firm, Max received his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law, graduating Cum Laude. During his time in law school, Max was a Federal Judicial Extern for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court under the Honorable Caryl E. Delano. In addition, he worked as a law clerk for the firm.

Max was an Associate Editor for the Journal of International Aging Law and Policy and spent much of his time volunteering with the Florida Brewers Guild and 360 Eats. In his free time, Max enjoys spending time with his family and playing pickleball.

Max is an active member of the Lee County Bar Association – Young Lawyers Division and General, Civil and Business Litigation Section. Max is also a member of the Florida Bar Association and American Bar Association – Young Lawyers Division, Law Practice Division, and Solo, Small Firm and General Practice Division. Max is also an approved title insurance agent for Attorneys' Title Fund Services.
