Lisa A. Difilippo, Esq. was born and raised in Queens, New York until she and her family moved to Miami, Florida where she completed high school and college. Lisa supported herself through college working as a paralegal at a boutique Miami law firm that specialized in automobile accidents and criminal defense. It was there that she discovered how much she loved helping people during difficult times in their life and prepared herself to attend law school.
Lisa attended Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida where she was an active member of the Student Bar Association, the Women’s Law Association and Moot Court. While in law school, Lisa competed in numerous oral advocacy competitions throughout the United States and was the recipient of the Best Oral Advocate Award in 2014 and winner of the 2014 St. Thomas More Trial Competition. She graduated in 2014 with her Juris Doctor and was recognized at graduation for her trial accomplishments.
Immediately after law school, she was hired by the State Attorney’s Office for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit where she conducted dozens of criminal trials in Collier County, Hendry County, and Glades County. After serving three years with the State, Lisa was hired by a Naples commodity brokerage firm as their general in-house attorney handling their contracts and civil litigation.
In recent years, Lisa successfully recovered millions of dollars in settlements and trial verdicts for her clients. In 2024, Lisa was nominated as one of South Florida’s “Top Lawyers” and was recognized for her career achievements.
Lisa currently specializes in personal injury matters including, but not limited to, automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death, trucking accidents, Uber/Lyft accidents, and catastrophic injury cases. Lisa is also familiar with, and has had the pleasure of representing Plaintiffs in, complex litigation matters involving contracts and product liability matters.
