represented me against my board.

Awesome! I retained Christina Harris Schwinn, to represent me. My board decided to fine me $1,000 without a hearing. I tried to fight it, saying that my "due process rights were violated", because in fact they were. She advised me, that it may not be worth it for me to fight, because of the cost of t...he legal fees. I said that I didn't care about the cost of legal fees, it was the principal...we went to court, the Judged ruled in our favor, & awarded me legal fees. She's, honest, ethical, & I would hire her again!!! She came highly recommended by Joe Adams. I called his office & he couldn't represent me because he represents condo associations.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
