Ms Shelton is an excellent lawyer. I would definitely recommend her to anyone going through a divorce. She is very knowledgeable about what she does. I had a very difficult divorce but at the end Ms Shelton made sure the right thing was done. She can be a little expensive but I promise you, she is wo...rth the money.

Let me just say that I have used Shelley Shelton for a number of years, through a very difficult custody battle with my ex and ongoing modification issues throughout the years following. One of his attornies used very dirty tactics to file paperwork right before a holiday weekend without going throug...h my attorney, Shelley. There was no doubt that she was my attorney because she has been my attorney on record for years, My ex's attorney did this purposely to try to have me show up for an emergency hearing without legal counsel. Had this happened, I have no doubt that I would have lost custody that day & it would have cost thousands of dollars and months of heartache to resolve. However, despite the fact that Shelley was scheduled to go out of town on a planned vacation, she stood by my side and we walked out of the courtroom with the case dismissed... She put everything on hold for the most important 30 minute hearing of my life!!! This is the attorney you want by your side! I have referred clients to her and will continue to do so & I am proud to put my name on this review. :) I wish I could give her 10+ stars!!

I was in a bad situation when my case began. Ms. Shelton shot straight about what I could expect & gave me good advice. She was easy to work with & I don't understand the poor reviews. I saw none of that. It was obvious she was on my side & at trial I really saw she knows her business. I'm out of... that bad situation now, and I'm glad I hired Shelley.

When I first hired Shelly she promised me everything would go great and that I had a strong case for taking my ex back to court for some modification issues. The communication was the worst possible she did not inform me on anything going on through telephone, email or snail mail . When I tried ...to call her to try to get some answers on why nothing was happening months later her and her assistant would just cut me short, tell me they will check into it, But never got back to me. This is the rudest nonprofessional attorney who was also extremely unprepared for trial. She did not know my case even at trial. Do not waste your time or money. Having to hire another attorney to fix her mess had to be done. But before I did this I tried to call to speak with her and was treated with the upmost disrespect and rudeness . Stay far, far away from her Is my best advice.

I will never use this law firm again ...it was very costly and she didn't give much representation at all. I almost felt like I had to track her down to find out about my case she never informed me of what was going on and if I asked she would get every disrespectful with me. I had to hire another la...wyer to clean up her mess....after time and money wasted.. Stay far way from this practice.
