Divorce is never easy but Mr. Thomas and staff were wonderful.

Walter Thomas really helped me understand what was allowed and how the law worked in reference to my divorce. He was accessible and never promised things that were unrealistic. He was honest and advised me what to expect. Gretchen in his office was wonderful and they both did not allow things to sit.... I could not have asked for a smoother process. I highly recommend Mr. Thomas. He also did not charge for unnecessary things.

Just sat there

We hired Walter to represent us in a change of venue proceeding. He charged a flat fee to appear. That's all he did, appear. He didn't argue our end, he just allowed the opposing party to railroad things and we lost something that was a clear cut win. Extremely disappointed that we hired this man and... he just padded his wallet.

I am very sorry we were unable to transfer you case file out of Florida. But, as we discussed the case has been ongoing for six years and the Judge was very familiar with the parties and the issues. The attempt to change the venue four months before the final trial was dicey at best. As to not arguing your position, that simply is not true. You were scheduled to appear by telephone and you called in late and missed the first half of the proceedings where I presented the cases that supported your side. Although you may believe this was a "clear cut win", you are mistaken. I wish you all the best in the future.

Walter saved me and my kids, removed Injunction, and then got the Judge to award custody-Amazing!

Walter took on two powerful/expensive attorneys hired by my wife in Tampa and completely turned the tables in my favor for a 3rd of the cost. I had lost visitation with my children; had an injunction against me in one court and things were looking bleak in family court. Walter got the injunction tos...sed in Injunction court, then convinced Judge to give me custody over my wife in family court. Ruling stunned my wife and her attorneys, but it was the correct ruling. My son has gone from failing the 8th grade to an honor role HS student. I owe it all to Walter. He understands what's important and what's not in the eyes of a family judge. Look no further.
