We were searching for a birth certificate from an adoption in the 70's & Mr. Valentine instead of a thorough search on his part proceeded with a legal name change costing me $1700.00 with no birth certificate. 3 months later my daughter did her own search & teceived her birth certificate in her adop...ted name for $23.00 through the Dept of Health in N.Y.!!! Valentine had the audacity to ask why did we search N.Y. after having all the onformation from me in writing. I asked repeatedly for him to call me & never heard from him. I should have reported him to the bar & still have time to do that. I was furious at how I was ignored. I even had to drive from GA to Lakeland to get an imvoice for charges incurred.
