Charles Richard Nail

Rick was born and raised in Lakeland , Florida. He graduated from Lakeland High School and the University of Florida with a B.A. in English, and Stetson University College of Law with a J.D. degree in 1973.

Upon graduation from Universtiy of Florida Rick taught English for two years at Kathleen High School. After law school, he established his private practice in Clearwater, Florida, and remained a sole practioner for 28 years. He practiced general civil, criminal and family law until 1987 , when he specialized in family law. He become Board Certified by The Florida Bar in 1993, is the past Chairman of the Florida Bar Certification Committee for Marital and Family Law, served as a member of the The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education and is now a member of The Florida Bar Board of Governors. In 2001, Rick decide to relocate back to his hometown, Lakeland, with his wife, Elsa. He and his wife have 3 adult daughters: Elizabeth, a graduate of University of Florida, who lives in Tampa; Sarah ,a graduate of the Universtiy of Florida , who is married  and lives in Tampa with her husband and their son and daughter; and Jessica, a graduate of the University of Alabama, who is married and lives in Richmond , Va. with her husband and their two daughters. Rick became an Of Counsel/Directior with Gray Robinson on July 1, 2001.
