You will need to file a claim on the estate and be able to prove that it was yours.
Also might consider an attorney to write a demand letter.
Does the administrator of the estate have to have good credit?

I have never had a case where this was an issue.
If it becomes a problem-I am sure your attorney
can work out a solution.
Do lawyers have to keep a will on file? Are Laywers required to keep orginal wills on file or copies.

Most attorneys keep copies and advise their clients to keep the originals in a safe deposit box or other safe place.
