Miles Hickman

Miles H. Hickman is a partner and trial attorney at Roman Austin Car Accident and Personal Injury Lawyers, headquarteree in Clearwater, Florida. He represents people injured in car and truck crashes and premises liability incidents, and families bringing wrongful death claims.

A Lakeland native who has lived in central Florida his entire life, Miles began his career at an insurance defense firm in St. Petersburg, clerking there during law school, staying on after graduation, and rising to manage a legal team of more than ten. He handles personal injury claims at every stage, from pre-suit through litigation and trial, and has served as both first and second chair trial counsel. He joined Roman Austin in 2023 and was named partner in 2025.

Miles has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America, selected to Florida Super Lawyers Rising Stars in 2025 and 2026, and joined the Million Dollar Advocates Forum in 2024. He is working toward board certification as a civil trial attorney.

He earned his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 2017 and a B.S. in legal studies and history from the University of Central Florida in 2014. An Eagle Scout, he volunteers with the Suncoast Animal League, Clothes to Kids and the Backpack Lady Project.
