Alan Paul Gustafson Jr.

Alan Gustafson is parter at Herman & Wells, heading the construction defect and litigation practice for the firm. The firm has offices in Pinellas Park and Clearwater, Florida. Alan has been licensed in Florida since 2007 and focuses his practice on representing homeowners, property owners, and associations against contractors, developers, and builders in construction defect disputes.

Alan handles the full arc of construction defect cases, from the pre-suit Chapter 558 notice through litigation and trial. He understands the process from the inside, having spent more than 15 years handling construction matters on both sides before joining Herman & Wells to represent property owners directly. Alan knows how contractors and their insurance companies think, and he prepares his cases using this background.

Outside the office, Alan's time belongs to his family: his wife, Anxhela, their kids, Riley and William, and Nala, the family's rescue dog. He's a committed Bills fan and Ohio State football devotee, which means he knows a thing or two about hoping for a better outcome than last year.
