Needing advocacy for VA matters, I transitioned over to Veterans Help Group during the summer of 2016. This attorney has been there for me the entire time throughout this transition (2014 - 2018), tirelessly working on my case before the Board of Veterans Appeals (BVA). My case has not been an e...asy process for anyone from the very beginning, as correcting records and bringing discovery often times was designed to wear individuals down on a regional level, burning litigation time before advancing to BVA, while attempting to undermine credibility. Dealing with Denver VA Regional Office has been very difficult to have items corrected and adjudicated properly from 2008 - 2018, creating a psychological state of hardship that only a sincerely committed attorney can process. To give an idea of the complexities involved; This specific case spanned Army Review Boards Agency (ARBA) - to include both Army Boards for Correction of Military Records (ABCMR) and Army Discharge Review Boards (ADRB), hearings located physically in Crystal City VA, totaling 8 years literally to completion, which meant constantly revising the record, repeatedly from those discoveries and full grants of relief. My case in particular has been through 2 senators and 1 congressman for persistent update, as oftentimes long and arduous processes such as this people tend to try and skirt responsibility by not staying on-top of the situation. Many attorneys (more than 10) due to the sheer volume of material presented would've simply taken the easy way out, not Mr. Beckles – he's been with every detail, methodically, carefully recognizing all of the points in my case. Mr. Beckles is a very kind, dedicated, caring attorney, who has remained calm and focused, while constructively working with all of the issues left outstanding, a lion when an advocate was needed most. There were times when I wanted to completely give up or blame processes attorneys were going through, not recognizing that the VA system was designed to frustrate, so that people do give up. Mr. Beckles was able to reign this behavior back in, rationally committed to followthrough. I highly recommend Mr. Beckles as an attorney to any Veteran requiring assistance concerning VA matters – Administrative Law. He is truly a master of his craft. A thank you is not enough for the patience and focus my case required of an advocate.
