Biography
I am a former felony prosecutor with the Office of the State Attorney in Bradenton (Manatee County), Florida. I worked there on general felonies including crimes of all degrees. I handled possesion and trafficking cases, burglaries, robberies, solicitations for murder and just about everything else (excluding first degree murder and capital sex crimes).
As a former prosecutor, I understand the motivations of prosecutors and the challenges they face. I will make use of that knowledge to negotiate the most favorable plea bargain possible when my client feels a plea is in his or her best interest. When, however, the best option is to take a case to trial, my clients will benefit from my extensive courtroom experience as an Assistant State Attorney. As a result of my experience there and some natural talent, I excel at trial work, especially communicating complex factual scenarios to juries.
