Whoever is doing your taxes should handle this question. If you are still confused, it's worth it to pay someone HR or somewhere 50 bucks.

My guess is that you're on probation for something drug related or that you don't have a good relationships with the people at the probation...

Do you have a tax ID? If so meet a BK attorney, not only might you be able to file but you might be able to clear up your wife's debt as well!!!
