This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

In a urgent matter and the anxiety of loosing our mother compounded by being from another state we hired Karmika Rubin she mislead us to tinking she was a probate attorney, she has never represented a probate case, She will not respond to us nor will she respond to the request of the courts. We are in process of terminating her services so we can hire an approiate attorney and she is even giving us a hard time doing this. Our services with her have been a night mare to say the least.
She submitted the same documents repeatedly and the courts rejected them for missing information, and when we were in Florida was the only time anything was done with our case. The estate has sit idol for months now and she has yet to do what she is committed to do in providing the documents the courts have requested, and taking care of issues pertaining to our case.
