Erin Mary O'Toole

Erin M. O'Toole received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in 1982. She then attended the University of South Florida, where she received her Bachelor of Science in 1989. She received her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in 1993.

Erin M. O'Toole has significant trial experience in state court.  She was an Assistant State Attorney in Pinellas County for five years where she tried over 50 jury trials to completion, as well as over 200 bench trials.  After entering private practice, Ms. O'Toole defended medical malpractice matters, products liability, long-term care, and tried a number of cases to conclusion.  Ms. O'Toole has also aggressively represented individual plaintiffs who have been injured as a result of medical malpractice, or another person's negligence.  Erin M. O'Toole's practice area also includes the presentation of professional licensees, regulated entities and interested parties before regulatory agencies, and the Division of Administrative Hearings.

Before starting her own firm, Ms. O'Toole was associated with a boutique trial law firm and was responsible for opening the St. Petersburg, Florida office of a large Philadelphia law firm.

Erin M. O'Toole is a member of the Florida Bar, Hillsborough County Bar Association and St. Petersburg Bar Association. Her practice focuses on administrative law, medical and dental malpractice, commercial litigation and family/divorce law.
