Matthew Alan Kassel

Mathew A. Kassel is the firm’s founding partner.  He serves a broad client base focusing his practice on estate planning, probate, real estate, and business.

Matt’s transactional work includes forming corporate entities, structuring joint ventures, and drafting and negotiating commercial leases.  In addition to his work with businesses and real estate professionals, Matt counsels families seeking comprehensive estate plans to protect assets.  He also represents fiduciaries in all phases of probate administration and litigation.

Matt has prosecuted and defended lawsuits across Florida on behalf of fiduciaries, businesses, and individuals.  Matt’s representative matters include but are not limited to contract disputes, real estate disputes, probate and trust disputes, consumer and creditor’s rights claims, business disputes, commercial landlord and tenant disputes, and homeowner/condominium owner association matters.

Before founding Kassel Law Group, Matt was an associate at two boutique Tampa law firms where he handled a broad array of real estate and commercial litigation, probate, estate planning and business transactions.  Prior to private practice, Matt served as Claims Counsel for a leading national title insurance underwriter where he resolved various title disputes and lawsuits against the company.  Matt is a Florida licensed real estate agent, and a title agent for Attorney’s Title Fund.
