Biography
Michelangelo Mortellaro is the founding attorney of Mortellaro Law, an Estate Planning and Elder Law firm serving in Tampa Bay, Stuart, and throughout Florida. Mr. Mortellaro obtained his Juris Doctor with Honors from Florida International University College of Law and has been a practicing attorney for over 15 years. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and an Accredited Attorney with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Mr. Mortellaro is active in a variety of community and civic activities, which include serving on the Ethics Committee of Gulfside Regional Hospice, ALS Foundation, and the Small ALF Coalition. Mr. Mortellaro devotes his time and resources to educate the community and clients on elder law affairs, estate planning, asset protection, Medicaid, and VA benefits. He has been a contributor for various media outlets throughout his years of practice and has been featured on Fox News, ABC, CBS, and Baynews9. He is also a member of the 1st U.S. Volunteer Cavalry Regiment - Rough Riders, a non-profit group that supports a wide range of charitable causes throughout Tampa Bay.
