I am a construction lawyer who has represented governments, companies and individuals in all facets of the construction industry including:
Public Agencies such as municipalities and other public authorities regarding construction litigation, construction project management and negotiation of contracts, including design build contracts and litigation against sureties;
Owners regarding: negotiation and procurement of contract documents for construction; termination of contractors, reprocurement, recommencement and completion of construction projects; and construction lien issues;
General Contractors regarding the prosecution of construction liens; litigation against owners and subcontractors, regarding bid protest remedies and in negotiation of contracts;
Sureties regarding litigation against subcontractors;
Subcontractors regarding the prosecution of construction liens; in litigation against sureties regarding payment provisions and construction defects, general contractor bankruptcy issues and the negotiation of contracts;
Condominium Associations regarding litigation against developers and contractors for construction defects; and
Design Professionals regarding licensing issues, payment issues and lien issues.
I draft and edit contract forms to meet client's needs and comply with applicable Statutes and regulations. I have successfully represented clients in jury trials, bench trials, administrative law proceedings, arbitrations and mediations
