I believed she had been denied due process or effective counsel in the underlying proceeding. Regrettably, the court denied my legal efforts. Worse, the Florida Bar challenged my ability to represent her because of the incapacity order. Despite my heartfelt effort to help the woman, I accepted a suspension to end the disciplinary process.”
