Abhi was great. He offers free consultations. I hired him for a divorce case, He explained all of my options and told me what to expect and what the next steps were. There was some negotiation, but I wasn't happy with that. So Abhi told me to go to Court and let the judge make the decision, and I won...! The judge was very receptive to my position as Abhi advocated for me, and the judge awarded me 50% custody and got my child support really low.

My wife left me and took off with the kids in MN. And because she filed for divorce at the state Line on her way to Tampa, I had no chance for custody. She wasn’t forced to bring the children back to MN instead I would spend two years fighting in MN only to have her attorney filing an emergency heari...ng after I fired my attorney in MN for not filing paperwork to have the kids back. The emergency hearing was done while I was in Florida visiting the kids. She testified that she did not know where I was and was awarded full custody giving me 0 rights. I moved to Florida to be near the kids and Abhi fought an impossible case getting me 40% custody in Florida. He also got back child support lowered from 240k to 40k. He stayed on the case with me for FOUR years not only acting as my lawyer but keeping my spirits positive. I highly recommend Mr Shah as an attorney. His knowledge and work ethic are unmatched.

The custody portion of my divorce had not been going well with my previous lawyer despite the facts of the case being in my favor, so I let him go with the idea that I would handle the case myself. I was completely overwhelmed, but still didn't think I wanted to hire a lawyer when I got the letter in... the mail from Mr. Shah. After a couple of days I got a subpoena for a hearing about child support even though and order on support had just been filed. I decided that I needed a lawyer again after all, so I decided to meet with him. I was impressed by his idea of a strategy for my case, so I hired him. Over the next month he moved quickly and got the extra case dismissed. He then set a hearing for another case management to again request additional time sharing. While this is only a temporary plan, he has already got me more time with my son than I could have hoped at 3 days per week now. I had been getting very little time and this was a drastic increase for me. As things stand now I feel we are in a good position moving forward to get the results I'm hoping for. I couldn't be more pleased with Mr. Shah's performance so far. He prepared an excellent strategy and in court was very intelligent and thorough in his questions. As far as I'm concerned, the quality of his performance for me so far would have been underpriced at twice the price he's asking. Other practical matters would be that he has always been courteous and responded promptly to all communication, whether text, call, or email. Another positive to me is that he is very eager to apply the leverage to try to convince my ex to settle without a long court fight. While my ex is more stubborn than most, I think his methods would be effective in nearly every other case, and may still be effective in mine despite her unwillingness so far.

FIRST, the below review shouldn't pertain to Mr. Shah's amazing work as it was clearly written by the mother of our daughter in this case. You simply have to understand that the majority of emails that are being sent in relation to this particular case are relevant due to its nature. If you aren't ...a lawyer or law clerk, don't try to understand the line of work they do on a daily basis with false information. Mr. Shah got me more time than I expected with my daughter. At first, I was lost and had no idea how the law even worked within this matter but now have become very knowledgeable in this area. NO ONE can interrupt the time that Mr. Shah won me in court and if ever I needed him again he will certainly be my first contact. Going from wishy washy not knowing when I will see our daughter to having practically the entire summer and shared parental rights!! I thank each of you for your hard work!!

Mr. Shah represented me in a child custody case, including a complicated and confusing interstate jurisdictional dispute. Prior to contacting Mr Shah, I spent roughly $3,700 on consultations with high priced law firms and private attorneys. Even one claiming to be the best firm in the state (most exp...erience, board certified, refundable retainers, blah..blah..blah) Each consultation left me feeling discouraged, nearly hopeless, and lighter in the wallet. I took a chance and called Mr. Shah after receiving his flyer in the mail. After about 15 seconds of being on the phone, I realized that he had a ton more work ethic and determination in him that any of the high priced attorneys I spoke with in the past. He was able to tell me (with the little bit of information I was able give within a few minutes) what we were going to do, how we were doing to do, and 3 possible outcomes; and he said it with such confidence. Needless to say, everything went exactly as Mr. Shah said it would. Throughout the whole process, Mr. Shah and his team were extremely responsive to my emails, phone calls, etc. and were always able to clarify any confusion and questions I had with compassion and assurance. I would list many more of Mr. Shah's virtues and outstanding qualities, but there is not enough room. I would highly recommend Mr. Shah to anyone needing an attorney.
