LaTerria Shaundria Sherer

LaTerria Sherer is the Managing Partner and founder of The Sherer Law Firm, a Florida-based practice focused on Family Law and Estate Planning. Known as "The Legacy Lifeline Lawyer," LaTerria built her firm on a simple but powerful mission: to protect her clients' peace of mind and provide professional guidance that makes life's most difficult legal moments easier to navigate.

LaTerria earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Bennett College in Greensboro, NC, and her Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham, NC. Upon graduating, she dove directly into Family Law, representing clients through divorce, custody disputes, child support, alimony, pre- and postnuptial agreements, and domestic violence matters. It was through that work that she developed her defining personal goal to help people move through hardship with clarity, confidence, and support.

That goal has only grown. Today, LaTerria represents clients across the full spectrum of family law while also helping individuals and families build lasting legacies through thoughtful estate planning. She is a firm believer that everyone, especially younger adults and parents, should have a Will, Living Will, or Trust in place to protect the people they love most. As a mother herself, she brings both legal expertise and genuine understanding to every estate planning conversation.
