Couldn't have asked for a better attorney.

When my wife left me and filed for divorce I was floored and completely taken by surprise. I stumbled across this website and researched more attorneys than I care to think about. After setting up some appointments with some other attorneys I contacted Shannon. During a brief email exchange and phone... call, I knew she was the person I wanted to represent me. I cancelled all other appointments and never once looked back. During the entire process there was never a question about whether or not Shannon had my best interest in mind. She was truthful and honest, she was direct with me when she needed to be but more importantly she didn't back down with opposing counsel when threatened. She explained all the paperwork when I didn't understand. She always told me what my options would be if we chose to go a different route. I never once felt that I didn't have control of the situation or that I didn't have a say. While my proceedings were probably quick, (just over a year, through no fault of Shannon's or my own, I think it could have been resolved quicker). I honestly feel Shannon did everything in her power to minimize my expense but give me the best possible outcome. While not every situation is the same I would highly recommend giving her a call to determine if she will be right for you. I cannot thank her enough for all she has done for me and my child. I don't think it's very often that you hear people who like their divorce attorney but I can honestly say I do.

Top Notch Attorney

Shannon is by far the most knowledgable, most communicative, and most impressive attorney I've worked with in many years. You just can't go wrong with her, especially on land use issues.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
