I hired Brittany during my divorce, when my relationship with my previous family law attorney had soured. I was very nervous about changing attorneys in the middle of my divorce, but she demonstrated immediately the ability to listen effectively, and was understanding and empathetic to my frustration... involving my first attorney. She and her team were able to accomplish progress towards a settlement agreement with my ex, which had become an overwhelming task with ineffective results when dealing with my first attorney. Within four months of hiring Brittany, my divorce was finalized. Prior to her, I had been dealing with a stagnant process with someone who failed to listen to my requests and act on my behalf because ultimately I believe they wanted to drag it out and go to trial. I also loved how the Sessums Law Group would send out monthly invoices with details notes, documenting all work and time spent on my case. That was extremely helpful in building a trusting relationship with her and the team. That was an issue with my previous attorney who sent invoices inconsistently and they were not well documented, which often caused questions. I would recommend this firm and Brittany to anyone seeking representation in family law matters. There was excellent prompt communication and responses throughout my time working with them.
