Practice Overview:

Dixit Law Firm is a firm of Florida lawyers representing individuals and corporate clients in all Federal and State Courts of Florida. We are trial attorneys, experienced in handling claims at all stages of litigation. Our mission is to provide our clients with the most potent, proficient, and principled legal services possible. 

The firm's areas of practice include, among other things, Litigation, Business and Commercial, Labor and Employment, Intellectual Property, and Technology Transactions. Although nearly all of our practice involves litigation and trial advocacy, our practice also involves counseling or facilitating business transactions to reduce the risk of lawsuits, or to protect assets.

Qualifications:

Mr. Dixit is licensed to practice law before the state and federal courts of Florida, Illinois and Texas; in addition, Mr. Dixit is a registered Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Legal Experience:

Before forming Dixit Law Firm, Mr. Dixit honed his skills by practicing law for preeminent civil litigation law firms in Florida, Illinois, and Texas. Throughout his years of working as an attorney, Mr. Dixit has had several bench and jury trials, all of which resulted in verdicts in favor of his clients. Notwithstanding, Mr. Dixit prides himself on being able to broker favorable settlement agreements for his clients. In total, Mr. Dixit has secured millions of dollars in aggregated settlements and verdicts.

Mr. Dixit also practiced law as an Appellate Law Clerk for the Honorable Warren D. Wolfson, of the Illinois Appellate Court, First Division, where he drafted Memorandums of Law, Appellate Judicial Opinions and Appellate Court Orders in both civil and criminal cases.

Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Dixit was a Chemical Engineer, managing teams of more than 70 people, starting as a Project Engineer through Technology VP, and leading ERP (e.g., Oracle, SAP and JDE) projects, which included providing application support, internal consulting, maintaining systems and providing training.

Mr. Dixit's practice is concentrated in the following areas of law: Business and Commercial Litigation, Small Business Counseling, Labor and Employment, and Intellectual Property (i.e., Patent, Trademark, Copyright, and Trade Secret).

Education:

Mr. Dixit graduated from the Chicago-Kent College of Law. During law school, Mr. Dixit was a member of the National Trial Team and was a Finalist in the Charles Evans Hughes Moot Court Competition. He received a CALI Award for his outstanding performance in both Intensive Trial Advocacy I and Trial Advocacy II, for which he was aptly named "Top Advocate."

Mr. Dixit received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from University of Illinois at Chicago. During his senior year of study at the University, Mr. Dixit was elected Student Chapter President of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and, during his term as President, instituted several progressive programs for the Chemical Engineering Department.
