Eileen D. Jacobs

Let me begin by saying I cannot say enough good things and words cannot express how grateful I am to have worked with Eileen Jacobs. I had an ongoing issue with my former spouse refusing to agree to list our former home for sale and I had been through 3 other attorneys and had almost lost faith that... this would ever get resolved. Finally a friend recommended Ms. Jacobs, and soon I realized my case was finally in the hands of a true professional. First, Ms. Jacobs invested the time in understanding my case and all previous filings before discussing any strategy or making recommendations, this may sound like an obvious first step but in my previous experience with other attorneys, they would take a cursory glance at a case and start making promises, but not Ms. Jacobs. Ms. Jacobs was methodical in her approach, realistic in setting expectations, and followed through on everything she said she would do. She always kept me informed, always returned my calls promptly, and took the time to answer any and all questions. Even though I am sure I was not her biggest case or client, she always made me feel like I was a priority and that this case was important to her too. In legal matters, you really want to feel like someone is on your side and truly is working hard for you, this is the type of representation you receive with Eileen Jacobs. During this process, we agreed litigation was the last resort and there was a point when we were approaching our court date and I was not nervous at all and the only reason was that I had Eileen Jacobs on my side and I had complete confidence in her abilities. Thankfully she resolved the case and we reached a settlement just prior to going to court which accomplished our goal and saved time and money. Since then the home was listed for sale and has just recently closed. I can imagine one of the difficult aspects of her job is managing the different personalities and one of those was mine, there were times when I would become emotional or frustrated and she was there not just as an attorney but as an advisor and advocate, she kept me focused and worked diligently toward our goal even when it was difficult for me to see the light at the end of the tunnel. She was always patient with me and was very persistent in accomplishing the goal we set out to achieve. My case came to a successful conclusion because of the hard work of Eileen Jacobs and I am forever grateful to have worked with such a talented professional.
