Robin Horton Silverman

Robin previously worked on both the plaintiff and defense sides in private practice, having handled consumer and securities class action cases against multinational corporations, first- and third-party insurance coverage and defense claims, and catastrophic personal injury and bad faith litigation.

She also gained a wealth of experience as a former Assistant City Attorney for the City of Tampa, where she worked for over six years in the Litigation Department managing a wide range of cases, including land use, real estate, zoning, contractual, eminent domain, personal injury, insurance public record, municipal code, code enforcement, 42 U.S.C. §1983, and First Amendment claims. In addition, she worked with the City’s Land Use and Real Estate Division as counsel for the Architectural Review Commission.

Robin is also well-versed in appellate and trial proceedings through her work as a staff attorney for the Honorable Judge Marva L. Crenshaw at the Second District Court of Appeals and as a staff attorney for the Civil Division of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court.

Prior to obtaining her J.D. at the University of Miami, Robin clerked at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and interned as a U.M. H.O.P.E. Fellow with Florida Legal Services. She also interned for former U.S. Senator Bob Graham while attending Florida State University.
