Mishandled, Basic mistakes that cost substantial money for a different lawyer to correct. No support from the firms partners when I informed them of my dissatisfaction.
I have since learned that this review was posted by a client that did not want to pay his final bill with me, despite my having obtained a great result for him and his business in a construction litigation dispute. I regret that he was upset enough about me asking him to pay for my services, that he resulted to disparaging me on a public website. Again, I wish him and his business well and, I am glad that we were able to obtain great results for him in his case.
"I have known, consulted with, and occasionally worked with this lawyer for over a decade. He possess the experience, academic credentials, and dedication that one should look for in an attorney. I endorse this lawyer."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Taylor is a "client friendly" attorney who is knowledgeable in his area of practice. Mr. Taylor aggressively advocates for his client's interest. Furthermore, he is a well respected by his fellow lawyers."
"Matt is an extremely astute litigator. He is a force to be reckoned with. Matt takes the interests of his clients very seriously. I have worked together with Matt on cases and find his analytics of each case to be superb. I highly recommend Matt for your business litigation or construction litigation."

Admonishment issued in FL, 2006
updated on 06/26/2012An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
“This was a citation for an advertisement in newspaper ad that was placed by my firm and not by me personally. The ad was determined to not meet all criteria specified by the Florida Bar and was donated as part of a "Women in Business" supplement to the local newspaper. It was simply a case of trying to do something good for the community and getting cited when doing so. Unintentional and no harm caused by the same to any clients. It was just a short newspaper ad that the Bar didn't like.”
