Absolutely don't hire this attorney!!!

I would never normally write anything to harm someones professional career but enough is enough. She had no problem taking my mother's 5k. Constant excuses on why she could NEVER keep her appointments. Paid for a divorce we never received and then had the nerve to ask for more money!!! How she isn't... disbarred is beyond me!

Unprofessional

Phone conference schedule for 10am. Call at 10:10 can you do 11? Sure. Call at 11:10 can you do 1. Sure. Call at 1:10. Can you do 3. Sure. Call at 3:10. Can you do tomorrow am. What the heck I’m on a string all day waiting for my conference with her. Then I release her and hire a real attorney and ...I’m still waiting for the balance of my retainer almost 2 months later. I’m actually considering reporting her to the Florida bar association. And excuses. Where do I begin. Have most of them in text messages. Sick... plumbing issues.. car accident... kid issues... etc. NOT PROFESSIONAL!!!

"I endorse this lawyer. I am an appellate attorney whose practice's focus is on family law appellate matters and have worked on several of Kristie's cases over the years. Appellate attorneys get to see the work of the trial attorneys and know the quality of their legal skills - Kristie is brilliant and has made it possible for me to win several appeals for her clients at the appellate level because she did such good work before the trial court. I would hire her if I needed a family law attorney and I think that is the best endorsement any attorney can give!"

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
