William H. Winters

Bill Winters is one of the founding attorneys of Winters & Yonker Personal Injury Lawyers, one of the most well-established personal injury law firms in the Tampa Bay Area. Attorney Winters grew up in Tampa Bay and is passionate about helping people in the area. He’s dedicated his legal career to standing up for the rights of personal injury victims and their families. To date, Winters has 30 years of experience practicing personal injury law.

Attorney Winters obtained his bachelor’s degree and his J.D. from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He initially planned on becoming a tax attorney upon graduation but discovered his love of litigation and changed course to personal injury practice. After earning his Juris Doctor, Winters’s first position was with a large personal injury law firm. While working there, he gained the knowledge and skillset necessary to effectively represent personal injury victims.

Winters went on to found Winters & Yonker Personal Injury Lawyers, in 2001 alongside Marc Yonker. The firm takes pride in giving each client the personalized attention and legal resources that they deserve in the aftermath of an injury accident. In addition, the firm’s personal injury attorneys take an aggressive stance toward maximizing the value of their clients’ claims.

Bill Winters cares deeply about his local community. To that end, he volunteers with and is on the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Tampa. Winters also partners with the Metropolitan Ministries in Tampa every holiday season, helping to make sure each child in the area receives a gift.
