Scott Jeffrey Frank

Scott J. Frank is a Partner at Butler Pappas. Scott received his Bachelor of Business Administration with honors from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida in 1984. He received his Juris Doctorate from University of Miami in 1988, where he was a member of the University of Miami Moot Court Board.

Scott is admitted to practice in all state courts of Florida, as well as in the Federal Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida. In addition to practicing throughout the State of Florida, he has handled cases in Georgia, Louisiana, Kentucky, New Jersey, Virginia, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Scott is a member of The Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute. He is also an AV rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. 

Scott's practice is based in litigation in the state and federal court systems, with emphasis on first and third party insurance actions, commercial litigation and cargo litigation. Scott also has extensive experience in the litigation of subrogation recovery and defense. He handles a wide range of matters including claims involving complex construction actions, business disputes, general tort claims and product liability losses. His cargo litigation practice involves recovery and defense of claims. Scott is also involved in the firm's class action department.
