Biography
I was born and brought up in Zambia, Africa, and studied in South Africa, Florida and Michigan before settling back into private practice in Tampa. My predominant practice areas include civil, business and real estate litigation, family law, and immigration law.
I represent individuals, families, and corporate entities of all sizes. While providing aggressive and zealous representation, I navigate the complex litigation process to provide my clients with a clear understanding of their options to litigate their cases through trial or negotiate favorable out-of-court pre-trial settlements, often through court-ordered and private mediations. I employ a no-nonsense, practical and collaborative approach to minimize the lasting effects of divorce on my clients and their families.
My most gratifying work was my involvement in a legal aid program that encompassed a 17-county area extensively representing indigent victims of domestic violence, and assisting with immigration petitions for asylum seekers from war-torn countries in Africa.
