I agree with last review! I too was referred to this firm but unfortunately it was previous attorney to handled my friend’s case. Very frustrating experience with this firm. There appears to be constant staff turnover, which made communication and progress on my case extremely difficult. I was re...peatedly passed from one new staff member to another because everyone left simultaneously. Despite insane billing, very little meaningful work was accomplished, and I will likely have to reopen with a more experienced attorney. I was also told that the staff handling these matters had no family law background, which made an already difficult process even more frustrating. Family law cases are too important to be handled this way. If you are dealing with custody or parenting issues, I strongly recommend choosing an attorney who can actually relate as a parent and who can keep staff. Proceed with caution.

I could echo the review above word for word. I was referred to Jaclyn by a friend who had great results, but my experience was completely different. I truly wish I had represented myself, as it often felt like she was working against me rather than for me. From the beginning, it seemed her focus was... on money rather than helping me navigate one of the most painful times of my life. Every time I had a question or concern, I was charged for the conversation, and instead of receiving guidance, I often felt dismissed or met with resistance. After three long years of legal battles, countless continuances, and five mediations, I was left emotionally drained and financially devastated. Throughout the process, she would make comments like “you guys,” as if she wasn’t even on my side. It was confusing and deeply discouraging to feel so unsupported by the person who was supposed to be my advocate. Our children suffered immensely through this ordeal, and I felt belittled, betrayed, and completely let down. To make matters worse, my ex-husband’s attorney was a long-term friend of both of our families—and even though Jaclyn admitted she had recently worked with him, she insisted it wasn’t a conflict of interest. There were several discrepancies in my case that were never addressed, and ultimately, I lost all faith in the justice system after this experience. The final blow came when I wasn’t even informed about my own final hearing—my ex-husband had to tell me about it. This entire experience left me feeling that corruption, greed, and ego overshadowed justice. The past three years have been the worst of my life, and I’ll be paying the financial and emotional price for years to come.
