Hobart M. Hind Jr

Hobart M. Hind, Jr. is a Partner at Butler Pappas. Hobie received his Bachelor of Science from The Georgia Institute of Technology in 1992; he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Georgia State University College of Law in 1995.  Hobie was a National Merit Scholar and a Presidential Scholar at Georgia Tech.  He was on the National Trial Competition Team at Georgia State.

Hobie is admitted to practice in all State and Federal courts in Georgia, Texas and Florida.  He has handled cases throughout the Eastern United States, including Florida, Georgia, Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Maine, Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina, Alabama, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Vermont.
 
Hobie practices almost exclusively in Property Subrogation and Recovery; this also includes all forms of contribution and indemnity claims, in additional to standard Subrogation claims.  These claims range from smaller homeowner losses to large scale industrial events.  He has tried fifteen Jury and Bench Trials on Subrogation claims.  Hobie also speaks regularly at all Subrogation Industry events, and served as the Chair for the 2010 National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP) Annual National Conference in Dallas, Texas. Most recently, he has been selected to be on the NASP Board of Directors in 2012.
