Eric Adrian Seidel

Eric Seidel is one of the best known attorneys and media personalities in the Tampa Bay area. From 1992 until 2010 Eric was FOX 13's Consumer Lawyer targeting scams, frauds and consumer rip-offs.

As the Consumer Lawyer, Eric has taken on crooked businessmen, unsavory corporations and unscrupulous scam artists for nearly two decades. In doing so, he has become a consumer advocate that people trust and has also become a household name as a champion of the average person.

In addition to his role on Fox 13, Eric has also been a correspondent for CBS News. He has served as Host of "Operation Consumer Protection," a statewide consumer awareness program produced with The Florida Bar, and has authored several law school study guides on professional ethics and civil procedure.

Eric devotes much of his practice now to the area of personal injury and helping consumers deal with the often intimidating areas of insurance and medical bills. He is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and The Florida Bar, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.

Eric has won numerous awards in both law and broadcasting, including The Society of Professional Journalists Award of Excellence, The American Bar Association's Local Government Award, and the Florida Bar Media Award. Eric has been cited for special recognition in county proclamations, as well as being publicly thanked for his work by Florida's Governor, Attorney General, several State Attorneys, and the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, which has bestowed upon him the title of Honorary Sheriff.

Eric joined McIntyre Thanasides Bringgold Elliott Grimaldi & Guito, P.A. in 2012 and is a lead attorney in its department that handles personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and products liability.
