Biography
Aaron M. Jacobs is a Senior Associate at Butler Pappas. Aaron is with the subrogation and recovery department of the Tampa office. Currently, his cases consist of recovery with regard to catastrophic losses, construction defects, manufacturer/design defects, and professional liability. Prior to joining the firm, Aaron practiced in multiple areas of law including commercial litigation, real estate litigation, criminal defense and general contractual matters.
Aaron graduated with honors from Florida State University in December 2000, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Advertising and a minor in Business. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in May 2007 while graduating with honors. While in law school, he received a "Book Award" for the highest grade in Criminal Law and Professional Responsibility. Aaron also served as a certified legal intern for the Public Defender's Office of the Sixth Judicial Circuit.
Aaron is admitted to practice in all state courts of Florida as well as the United States District Court Middle District of Florida. He is a member of The Florida Bar and the Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar.
Aaron was born in State College, Pennsylvania and was raised in Gainesville, Florida. He has lived in Tampa since January 2002.
