Mari was extremely positive and thorough

Mari was highly recommended to us by my moms divorce lawyer. She was kind and extremely thorough every step of the way. I mostly appreciate her explaining the process as this was a painful experience and Mari made it as positive as possible! Thank you Mari!

The Privacy Expert

Mari J. Frank is a superb lawyer/mediator who is extremely insightful, strategic and highly knowledgeable in her expertise – Identity Theft and Fraud. Mari is an amazing woman to work with she has great judgement and integrity in all matters regarding ID Theft and Fraud. Mari works kindly and fairly ...with other counsel in order to achieve the best results for her clients. Mari’s approach to finding a solution in order to avoid illiberal behavior that can interfere in achieving the preeminent solutions and strategies for ensuring her client’s identity to be restored. Nobody has greater depth, experience, knowledge and practical wisdom than Mari J. Frank. Technically an expert in Identify Theft, Mari is very eager to settle and mediate cases and has a heart of gold only wanting what is best for her clients’. Mari J. Frank is the most honest, genuine and straight forward attorney I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. She saved my identity, while teaching me how to protect myself in the future from the broad scope of ID theft and any type of fraud. I have had the pleasure of working with Mari as my legal counsel for the last nine months and I have never trusted or felt so taken care of until I met Mari J. Frank. Mari’s approach to handling cases (Mine for example) is something I’ve never experienced before while working with other counsel. She is a go getter, a straight shooter, and is one of the respectable bright minds in this industry. I would recommend Mari J. Frank to anyone who has had any sort of fraud acts done upon them. She carries herself with such grace that when she walks in a room you can’t help but know you’re in good hands. In regards to my situations, Mari has saved my life. She’s given me my identify back which included a fresh start, justice to those who violated the law at my exposure and is someone who I can always reach out to and know I’m getting the best advice. I can’t articulate in words any further how much Mari J. Frank has done for me personally and how great she is at what she what she does, but all I can say is if you want the best counsel by your side, Mari is hands down the woman for the job. All in all, I have been thankful since the day I met Mari. She is one of a kind and no one can do her job or has the type of knowledge required to handle such serious matters that affect millions on a daily basis. If there were more than five stars to give someone I’d give them all to Mari.

Top Notch Divorce Mediator!

Last year and into the first half of this year, my ex husband and I had Mari mediate our divorce. I found Mari to be consistently professional, knowledgeable, and helpful from the initial 3-way call to the final financial paperwork. She was easy to reach when a question came up, quick to respond to e...mail and phone calls, and compassionate towards us as individuals. I highly recommend Mari for divorce mediation if you can afford her. You won't be sorry you choose her. She's the best!

Educated, fair and honest

Mari was recommended to me, from a friend, and I am so very glad I met with her. Mari helped guide me through the divorce process with facts and patience. She met with both my ex and I, or did phone conferences, with respect to both of us and explained, with professionalism and kindness, what the ...law dictates. She helped negotiate terms that, I believe, helped through this emotional time. I would, highly, recommend her.

Can't imagine it being any worse

Doesn't seem neutral, takes case and makes them overly complicated, wastes time on non issues, seems like she only wants to use up all your money (she would never admit), she blames and contradicts client, I wouldn't wish her on my worst enemy, wanted to fire her a bunch of times and got talked into ...hanging in there - mistake.

My heart goes out to you. You wrote this 2 years ago and I just saw this. I understand you are now working with your 5th attorney, and you are entrenched in very expensive, public, contentious litigation as of April 2015. . You called our office for help in between attorneys after you wrote this. As your former attorney/mediator it would be unethical for me to assist you without returning to mediation with both you and your wife as well. It is true that I am detailed and require that both parties act in good faith to disclose all finances as required by law. Unlike litigation where parties battle, look to blame and are out to "get" each other, (which you have been experiencing for over two years) mediation is meant to be a private, collaborative process which follows court guidelines, helps parties to fulfill their fiduciary duties, and requires honesty and fairness. It actually wastes time and money if parties hide assets (requiring subpoenas of bank accounts, etc) attack each other, come to meetings unprepared, refuse to sign stipulations already pre-approved by all, and in act in bad faith. When mediation clients act cooperatively, voluntarily provide important documents in a timely manner, act respectfully to one another (without the need for one party to file a TRO against the other), the fees are lower, privacy is maintained, the process is quicker and less stressful, and the parties and their children can move on positively in their lives. It is my heartfelt desire for all my clients to forgive the past, heal their conflicts, get a fair outcome, grow from the process, and move on happily. I am sorry for you that you originally filed in June of 2012 and it's almost three years and you are still in litigation. I am sure that you now recognize that mediation was much less expensive than the court battle. You are still fighting an expensive, stressful proceeding in court. Both you and your wife deserve to move on positively. People in divorce are angry with their situation and their spouse, and if they don't get all that they want they are angry with their mediator or attorneys. You are a very astute professional and deserve happiness in your professional and with your significant other and baby. My hope for you and your wife is that you will let go of the bitterness you have toward your wife and the lawyers, and consider being collaborative so you can finally come up with a mutually acceptable agreement. You both are wasting your hard earned money on a battle that hurts you both. You say in this headnote- that you can't imagine it being any worse? Well I looked at the public court record, and it has gotten much much worse, as now your case was also assigned to a new Judge in January and you have terminated five lawyers. As you know, I made myself available to you to answer your calls on weekends and when you wanted to buy your new residence, I convinced your spouse to allow you to do that without a court battle, so you could do so in a timely manner. Now that you are continuing in this public process, your personal and financial privacy is exposed . Mediation is the only forum that protects your privacy. Perhaps you and your spouse may wish to consider asking your lawyers to bring the case to another mediator to finally end the pain of this dissolution . I wish the best for you both- underneath the pain and hostility you are both very good people.
