Debra Roganne Bell

Debra R. Bell was born and raised in Brandon and has spent most of her legal career practicing in the Tampa Bay area.  Debra is now focused on providing her clients with personalized attention to their legal issues. 

Debra worked for small firms handling collections, family law, insurance defense, and personal injury cases early in her career.  She then turned her focus to public service working for the Department of Children and Families prior to joining the State Attorney’s Office, first in Polk County and later in Hillsborough County.

After spending over 15 years prosecuting all types of criminal cases.  While working with the State Attorney’s Offices Debra litigated multiple homicides, traffic homicides, drug traffickings, robberies, as well as petit thefts and DUIs, including trying over one hundred jury and non-jury trials.  She has the experience to understand how the State of Florida will view your criminal case and then develop a strategic defense for you.

As a lifelong Florida resident Debra graduated from Brandon High School.  She then received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Tampa and her law degree from Florida State University.
