Lori Crandall Moseley

I hired Lori Crandall Moseley and I did all the work. She missed appointments with the judge and I had to find out about court dates from my spouse who I was divorcing. I had to work out a settlement with my spouse on my own as she was always "out of town". She double billed me for "reviewing" the... same materials over and over. She also charged me for sending me copies of the same documents I had given to her, not once but twice! She is unethical and needs to be disbarred.

I hired attorney Lori Crandall Moseley to handle my divorce. Her interest in my case stopped almost immediately after I hired her and gave her a sizeable retainer. Ms. Moseley misrepresented the scope of her services when I hired her as she assured me she had ample experience in federal annuities.... She also double billed by charging to email me documents, and then sending me hard copies of the exact same things. She was unresponsive to opposing counsel for weeks at a time, costing both sides time and money. When I finally fired her, she continued to bill for several months, saying it’s customary to review paperwork to close up a case. I always thought that if you are fired, your work (and pay) stops immediately. In Ms. Moseley’s world, she gets to keep working and charging you for it. She was woefully unprepared and prepared documents with a multitude of mistakes. Her little secretary, er, I mean legal assistant, didn’t know anything, yet I was dutifully billed her rates for her to take my phone messages that weren’t returned. Ms. Moseley offers a free consultation to make the phone ring, and then overpromises her capability to get clients. It is painfully obvious Ms. Moseley’s modus operandi seems to be to just “wing it”. By the time I realized Ms. Moseley was clearly over her head, it was too late in the process to reasonably change attorneys. As I went through this process, I felt every attorney joke written could have been written about Ms. Moseley. All I wanted was for somebody to help me through my case. Instead, of helping, Ms. Moseley was nothing but a hindrance. She is an embarrassment to the legal profession and is a real disservice to her clients.
