Stephanie A. Koether

Ms. Stephanie A. Koether has a passion for helping others.  That desire to improve the lives of others and to champion the rights of the aggrieved is reflected in her educational and career endeavors.

To better understand the emotional and mental health challenges that people face, Attorney Koether focused her undergraduate studies on and earned a degree in psychology from Fordham University in 2011. Knowing that she wanted to work in a profession centered on helping others, after successfully completing her undergraduate studies, Ms. Koether set out to become a lawyer.  She attended law school in both New York and at the University of Miami where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2016.  In so doing, Attorney Koether achieved her law degree with Honors Distinction.

While in law school, Ms. Koether worked on behalf of economically challenged individuals, providing services through a non-profit organization in relation to landlord-tenant disputes. Her efforts were on behalf of the powerless, not the powerful.  Fueled by her continued desire to help those lacking in means, Ms. Koether furthered her work on behalf of the low income clients of the non-profit organization even after she had achieved her law degree.

More recently, Attorney Koether worked with a solo practitioner assisting clients with her family law cases, probate cases, and landlord-tenant disputes.  Ms. Koether now works on behalf of the clients of Brandon Legal Group, PLLC in the areas of Family Law, Estate Planning, Probate, Bankruptcy and Personal Injury.  Representing clients in their Family Law cases was a natural extension of her long held passion for service to others.  Fighting to preserve a Family Law client’s financial security and their relationships with their children is critical and rewarding work that Ms. Koether embraces.  Likewise, Estate Planning, Probate, Bankruptcy and Personal Injury Law is all about preserving the peace of mind and financial future of clients.

Ms. Koether has furthered her efforts to service others in the Tampa Region.  In that regard, she joined the Hillsborough Association of Women Lawyers and through that group gives back to the community through outreach and volunteer events.
