Kenneth C Tapman

Ken Tapman counseled my business for years, initially handling environmental clearance-related matters pertaining to land use and historic preservation in a major urban area. Subsequently, Tapman handled all corporate legal matters pertinent to the development of several innovative health care firms... in which I was involved. His work involved consulting on environmental statutes and regulations and, at a later point, making sure that FDA and state guidelines were correctly understood and implemented as the company contracted with physicians practicing in all major U.S. regions. More recently, he managed a large project involving the development of OTC and pharmaceutical-based products for a medical skin care company. He was in charge of contract negotiations, regulatory matters, business development and and managing a team of consultants working throughout the U.S. to develop and implement consistent standards of care. He oversaw contract negotiations, and was responsible for regulatory matters, business development and directing product R & D. He's a great guy: super bright, a consensus-builder, and seems to handle the business end of law as well as he handles the legal end of business. I've used him on multiple projects over the past 11 years and he definitely gets the job done.

I have worked with Ken Tapman in the contexts of litigation, legislation, negotiated compliance with federal environmental and historic preservation laws, and agency operations (He was my agency's general counsel late in his federal career). I have found him to be an excellent analyst and strategist..., strictly (sometimes brutally) honest, and highly creative.
