John Edward Schwencke

John E. Schwencke began his legal practice as a defense attorney, where he gained experience in all facets of civil litigation. Mr. Schwencke then switched his focus exclusively to family law to help real people with real problems during the most difficult times of their lives. At the present time, Mr. Schwencke combines his civil litigation background and family law background at Lavalle Brown & Ronan.

Mr. Schwencke earned his law degree from The University of Florida Levine College of Law where he graduated with honors and was a member of the prestigious Florida Blue Key -  Florida’s most prominent leadership organization. As an undergraduate, Mr. Schwencke attended the University of Florida on a Bright Futures Scholarship; he graduated with honors.

Mr. Schwencke’s practice is specialized to personal injury, civil litigation and – with respect to family law - divorce; modification of alimony, child support and child custody; appeals; premarital agreements; prosecution and defense of domestic violence (restraining orders); paternity (fathers’ rights); grandparents’ rights; and select adoption, guardianship, and juvenile dependency/relative custody matters.

A Palm Beach County native, Mr. Schwencke is admitted to practice in all jurisdictions in the State of Florida and has been admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle and Southern District of Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the Palm Beach County Bar Association.
