Plain and simple she wrote my Divorce agreement with a retirement QDRO that I paid her extra to do. She wrote it so that my X would get the accrued 10 years of interest from my account that I couldn't access until he turned 52 which equated to $83,000.00! The head of the HR department from my X's, em...ployer said she had never seen a divorce attorney make such a HUGE MISTAKE. In fact that company had overlooked it also and sent me statements for the 10 years with it accruing on my account. When I went to transfer the funds when they became available, they reviewed the verbage of the QDRO and had to write him the check for my $83,000 in interest. YOU CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT KIND OF DAY THAT WAS..... ALMOST AS BAD AS THE DAY OF MY DIVORCE. That was 1/2 of my divorce moneys that I thought I was getting. My X was laughing all over again when he got the check. I signed on the dotted line thinking that I was getting a pretty good divorce. Haha the joke was on me.
