Not Forthright.
Mr Layton is NOT an Honest Man/Attorney. He will do his best to get away with what he can when it comes to finances. He comingles client funds to collect interest for his OWN gain. He will deny as long as he can also. There are far too many other Attorneys to use. This is NOT a good choice. ...

Dishonest
Never filed notarized paperwork to court. Lies saying never got it. Delay, delay,delay...Just another example of playing you for your money. Run don't walk from this lawyer!!!

Fees intransparent & poor communication
Bill handled an estate case. His fees were intransparent. After multiple attempts to clarify the fees charged, he sent us a threatening letter. Very unprofessional.
