Matthew Roman Kamula

Matthew R. Kamula has provided advice and counsel on a variety of legal topics including, but not limited to homeowner and condominium association law, IT vendor management, corporate transactional issues, primary insurance defense, risk management, admiralty and maritime cases, real estate, banking, and finance to several national and local clients.

He has also represented a diverse spectrum of maritime and corporate entities including nationally and internationally known cruise lines; shipping companies; private yacht and mega-yacht owners; corporations; and individuals.

He transitioned from litigation into the corporate world by assuming the position of General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Operations for an IT services corporation. In this capacity, he oversaw all operational, transactional, real estate, and legal matters for the company in diverse areas, including service to the Federal government and various state governments.

At Copple Sachs Copple, P.A., in his current position of Senior Attorney, using his extensive litigation and transactional background, he has transitioned into homeowner and condominium association law assisting clients in all aspects of community association operations including, but not limited to analysis and opinion of unique issues arising under the governing documents of associations; interpretation, amendment and enforcement of governing document; rulemaking; contract negotiations and drafting; contract review for Associations; along with compliance with state and federal statutory and administrative requirements.

He is a strategic attorney at the intersection of thought and action with a track record of leading complex operations, developing and negotiating dynamic transactions, working with Federal, State, County, Municipal, and City governmental entities.

Mr. Kamula earned his B.A. from the University of Miami Magna Cum Laude and his J.D. from the University Of Miami School Of Law.

He is admitted to practice in Florida, California, and Washington.

He has served as his Homeowner’s Association President for the last ten years and is the President of the North County Neighborhood Coalition which is an organization working collaboratively with government, business, community associations, and community leaders to plan for a better North Palm Beach County. He is also serves on the Palm Beach Gardens Parks and Recreation Advisory Board as an Advisory Member.
