Biography
Gregory T. Zele is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Civil Trial Law - a designation earned by only 6% of all Florida attorneys in their practice areas. Board Certification means that the Florida Bar recognizes Greg as a "legal expert" in the area of civil trial law. Greg has proven his expertise in civil trial law over and over again in the courtroom when taking on some of the largest insurance companies and corporations in the world. Most notably, Greg obtained a verdict of $10.3 million on behalf of a client who was injured when he was struck by a van while he was riding his bicycle. In addition, Greg and his partner Greg Huber won a $1.5 million verdict in a wrongful death case against Cooper Tire & Rubber Company in a case involving a defective tire. The verdict is believed to be the first product liability verdict against Cooper Tire in the state of Florida.
Greg concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, product liability and property damage. He has handled a wide range of product liability claims against major manufacturers of sport utility vehicles, automobiles, tires, child safety seats, bicycle helmets and children’s toys. Greg has successfully tried to verdict and negotiated multi-million dollar settlements on behalf of clients in cases involving wrongful death and serious injuries.
Greg has lectured to national and statewide audiences of attorneys and expert witnesses in the areas of product liability and personal injury.
