Lauri B. London

Lauri recently joined the firm of Cohen & Buckmann P.C. where she joins the team in advising and counseling financial services providers, employees, pension plan advisers, law firms and accountants on a number of complex issues including investment adviser regulation, executive compensation and employee benefits. 

Lauri's prior employment was serving as the Chief Compliance Officer and Associate General Counsel of Boston Private Wealth, where she was responsible for the firm’s compliance with all Federal and State securities laws. She was responsible for proactively identifying, evaluating, mitigating and reporting on compliance, legal and reputational risks and chaired several committees including Compliance and Risk, GIPS and Best Execution.  

Lauri was formerly a Managing Director and General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Ark Asset Management Co., Inc. At Ark, a registered investment adviser with over $20 billion in assets including private funds; she was responsible for all legal and compliance matters. Prior to her 10 year tenure with Ark, Lauri was a corporate associate with a large law firm in New York, and her practice included securities offerings, regulatory matters, real estate, as well as general corporate law. Prior to law school, Lauri, earned her CPA, as an accountant in the financial services industry.
