Smith v. Fed. Cleaning Contrs, 126 Fed. Appx. 672 (5th Cir. 2005)
N/AOUTCOME: Case dismissed on summary judgment
As a defense attorney, I defended a cleaning company that was cleaning a shopping mall when plaintiff was walking into the mall and stepped on a cleaning hose of the defendant that was stretched across ... the mall door opening, causing her to fall. Plaintiff failed to establish the necessary elements of her claim that my client created a dangerous condition that injured the plaintiff, and I was able to persuade the court to dismiss the case against my client. As a former defense attorney, my experience and success in cases like the above has given me the tools necessary to succeed as a plaintiffs attorney and protect those injured by others.
