Keith Eric Singer

As an attorney and financial professional, Keith Singer helps those in or near retirement with a variety of asset protection, income taxation, wealth distribution and estate-planning issues, including drafting wills, trusts and estate planning documents.

Keith was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and started his first business - selling soft pretzels - at age 11. In 1992, he earned his finance degree from The Pennsylvania State University, where he was a finalist in the AT&T Investment Challenge and started (and sold) a successful house-cleaning business.

As he was growing up, his mother encouraged Keith to become a doctor. Since he exhibited little interest in biology and chemistry, Keith and his mother reached a compromise: He would become a lawyer. Keith earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and is an active member of The Florida Bar.

Early in his legal career, Keith helped clients with probate disputes. He realized that as an attorney he could only try to fix people's problems, but if he could help them plan properly, he potentially could help them avoid problems altogether. In 1996, he began advising clients on how to grow, preserve and distribute their wealth with tax-efficient strategies. In 2000, he obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

Keith has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, U.S. News and World Report, Money Magazine, Business Week, Kiplinger and The New York Times as well as appearing on NBC, ABC, CBS and CNBC.

Keith donates to several local philanthropies, including JAFCO, which is dedicated to serving underprivileged, neglected and disabled children. He and his wife, Mishelle, live in Hollywood, Florida, and Margate, New Jersey, with their four children.
